Thunder & Lightening Scones
Serves: 1
Ingredients:
Plain Scone
Devonshire Clotted Cream
Black Treacle
Method:
- Now here is a Cream Tea with a difference! Take one of our Plain Scones (must be plain to achieve optimum taste) and slice in half
- Spread a generous helping of Devonshire Clotted Cream over the bottom half, followed by drizzles of thick Black Treacle.
- Replace the top and enjoy.
- If you are feeling really naughty you could always serve in two halves with extra cream and treacle!
- If you prefer, why not substitute the Black Treacle for some extra fruity Strawberry Jam to enjoy your Cream Tea the good old traditional way.
