Four Seasons Pizza
Why not try making a traditional thin and crispy Four Seasons Pizza and bring the taste of the Mediterranean to your meal!
Serves: 2
Ingredients:
Kara Doughball 180g - defrosted
75g Parma ham
180 g mozzarella, cubed
75g mushrooms, thinly sliced
8 black olives, pitted
1 tbsp capers
6 anchovy fillets
10 basil leaves
2 tbsp olive oil
flour for dusting
olive oil
tomato puree
salt and pepper
Method
-
Sprinkle some flour onto your work surface and place your dough ball in the centre. Sprinkle some more flour over the dough and roll well on both sides. Dust the circular baking tray with flour to stop the dough sticking. Using the heel of your hand push the dough outwards, forming a rustic circle.
-
Spread the tomato sauce over the pizza base and scatter the Parma ham, mushrooms, capers, mozzarella, black olives, basil leaves and anchovy fillets. Season with salt and pepper and finish by drizzling over some olive oil.
-
Place into the centre of the oven and bake for 15-20 minutes until cheese is bubbling and the crust is crispy.
-
Once baked remove the pizza from the oven and ease it out of the baking tray. Drizzle over some olive oil, cut into large triangular slices, garnish with a little greenery and serve.
Why not serve with an Italian green salad, warm crusty bread and a glass (or two!) of red wine
