Sweet Chilli Bangers
Especially for Halloween and Bonfire night, sausage butties with a real twist! They will certainly keep you warm on a cold frosty night!
Ingredients
12 large meaty pork sausages
4 tbsp of tomato ketchup
2 tbsp of clear honey
2 tsp mild chilli powder
2 garlic cloves, crushed (or some garlic puree)
1/2 tsp of dried oregano
Salt and Pepper to taste
12 MK6 Hotdog rolls top sliced
Method
Heat oven to 220C/Fan 200C/Gas Mark 7
Arrange the sausages in a roasting tin in a single layer and bake for 10 minutes.
Mix together the tomato sauce, honey, oregano, garlic and chilli with seasoning and one tbsp of water
Pour mixture over sausages and mix well. Ensure sausages are all coated
Place baking tin in oven and bake for a further 30 minutes until sausages are golden
Serve in a hotdog roll
