Spicy Lamb Burgers
This is a burger with a real flavour twist. The lamb is delicately flavoured with the spices and a hint of mint!
Ingredients
800g minced lamb
1 small onion, finely chopped
2 cloves of garlic, crushed
1 tsp cumin seeds, crushed
2 green chillies, finely chopped
15g fresh mint, finely chopped
1 tsp coriander seeds
1/2 tsp black pepper
1 tsp salt
4 x Kara MK5 Floured Baps
Method
Place the lamb in a large bowl and add the remaining ingredients. Mix it all together until just combined.
Wet your hands then shape the mixture into four burgers about 200g each
Cook the burgers on a griddle pan or a non-stick frying pan with a bit of oil. Make sure you pre-heat the frying pan or griddle pan to a medium heat
Cook burgers for about 5 minutes on each side, turning once.
Place burgers in the floured baps with lettuce, sliced tomato and salsa (optional)
Why not serve with spicy wedges and salad and a nice cool drink!
