Italian Burgers
How about trying this burger recipe with an Italian twist? It is really easy and the Italian Burger is full of flavour!
Serves: 2
Ingredients:
250g pork
250g beef
50g dried natural breadcrumbs
50g freshly grated Parmesan cheese
1 tsp dried Italian herbs (or oregano/marjoram)
1 large egg
1 tsp vegetable oil
Salt and freshly ground black pepper
4 Kara MK4 Seeded burger buns
Beef Tomato - sliced
Mozzarella - sliced
Method

Mix together the minced pork and beef, dried natural breadcrumbs, freshly grated Parmesan cheese, dried Italian herbs with 1 large egg in a bowl.

Season generously with salt and pepper.

Shape with hands into four burgers and grill or fry in a non-stick frying pan with 1 tbsp vegetable oil for 15 minutes, turning once. Remove excess fat using kitchen towels.

Meanwhile toast the sesame seed bun

Top each burger with a slice of beef tomato and a slice of mozzarella cheese and pop under a hot grill until cheese has started to melt.

Place in a seeded burger bun with some green salad leaves
Why not serve with an Italian green salad and spicy potato wedges!
